Excellent New Orleans Jazz from the Jazz revival period from the 1940s. We have
invited the Golden Eagle Band the very best of the revival Bands in this Country.
They will be playing Jazz as played by Bunk Johnson, George Lewis and many more
of the American musicians that led the revival period. There is a very special recording of
“Jazz at Vespers” which will be featured during the concert. If you have had any
connection with New Orleans music through the years this event will bring back many
happy memories from the past I’m sure, as well as helping the Church Charity at the same time.
Timing is September 14th 12 o clock mid-day snacks and beverages available, bring a cushion.
