Baptism

If you have recently become parents, we offer you our warmest congratulations! It is wonderful that so many parents still think of Baptism as an important and natural part of bringing new life into the world.

Baptism marks our first step on the lifelong pilgrimage of faith. It begins within us the life of grace, and is the sign and seal of God’s promise to be always with us; we are given his Holy Spirit, and assured of his love, as we embark on our journey into the fullness of life in Christ.

To be baptised at St John’s, the family will normally need to live within the parish, or have a clear connection with the church. The service can take place within the main Parish Eucharist at 10.00am on Sundays, or on the second Sunday of the month at 12.15pm. We will be happy to talk through all the options with you.

If you would like to explore the possibility of a Baptism at St Johns please

contact the Parish Administrator. Monday to Friday between 9.30am to 12.30pm:
01444 230499 or email stjohnsbh.admin@icloud.com

or come along to a Sunday Service and have a chat with Fr David Charles
